We have been dreaming up DRM since 2006. As a music label we were keen on having a concert hall where people come and enjoy high quality concerts in a laid back atmosphere. We needed to have a place where all the production elements are precise and measured and capable of delivering the highest standards in audio delivery and lighting. While constructing the place we paid a lot of attention to the acoustics of the venue. We built a box in a box with special materials so that the sound is crystal clear with minimum reverberation. DRM is a concert hall that was conceived from this perspective: the perspective of music producers and musicians.
The challenge for us was how to complete the experience with enticing dining and drinks without interfering with the musical aspect of the evening. We teamed up with our counterparts from the hospitality industry and have devised a dining experience like nowhere else: A menu that changes and evolves with the musical styles. Our guests will have a different dining experience with different flavors and tastes depending on the concert they are watching. Dining will take place before the concerts and after, only drinks will be served throughout the evening. We know that this practice is not very customary in our part of the world but we insisted on it to give the concerts the prevalence and importance they deserve.
In a nutshell the DRM concept revolves around a relaxed atmosphere, high caliber concerts, excellent productions, stupendous service and a fantastic dining and wining experience.
